Miranda is a well-loved hostess for the Turbo Trivia franchise, and has popped many a question to audiences from Manly to the mountains – always adding a fun take on the answers!
As a senior queen, Miranda is right across LGBTQ+ issues and history, and politics and current affairs more broadly. She runs trivia in pubs, aged care, IDAHOBIT and Pride month events, all the way to upscale corporate functions – effortlessly blending sophistication and laughter.
What makes Miranda a gem amongst drag queens in Sydney is that she is a talented, trained singer who brings the excitement of a genuine live performance to any event.
Miranda doesn’t need to hold back on the big notes. She can belt out bangers in a pub, conquer contemporary ballads at a corporate event or swing out the classics in aged care – whichever genre best engages her crowd.
Which also makes her the ideal karaoke hostess!
Unlike any other Sydney drag queen, Miranda has spent two decades working with live musicians, specialising in jazz. In 2023 her sold-out one-woman show Old Queen Cole received a standing ovation. During 2024 and 2025 Miranda co-produced, hosted and performed at Toot Your Own Horn, a monthly jazz cabaret night in Balmain, with a live 5-piece band.
She is currently writing a two-person cabaret show to premiere later this year with fellow vocalist and international choir leader Lisa Morgan.
